[Edit] sorry I don't think this the Library of Congress link is valid. I have implemented a "screen scraper" (they don't care but require a 6 second delay between queries) in the past. Is there a generic block for a screen scraper/html -> xml mapper that we could get/have access to?

We looked at NOAA a while ago for weather and the page was HTML. Scraping HTML is notoriously unreliable -- we found we were updating our code very regularly to get access to the information. In the end, the user experience was so unpredictable that we removed the block. For the same reason, we didn't try to create an HTML scraping block.
