Blue connector thingys (do they have a name?)

How about only showing the blueoutput connectors for block that actually have an output? And how about indicating that the block has self-render capabilities by changing the colour? Actually, that would be a good inclusion in the icon in the block library too...

There are several things we want to do in this area -- one of them is to make it easier to distinguish "output" blocks from others. Another is to make it so that blocks that don't offer output don't give you the second bubble. I don't know when we'll get to it but your note helps us prioritize.

Seconded. Also, it'd be handy if we could see what a block outputs, exactly. Especially when playing around with new blocks it's not always clear what their outputs are, so it's not always clear what you could use the block for.
