I do want to know how it is used in Logistics and distribution especially incase of transport company i do want to know using with covast acclerator and AS2 adapter all the basics and information needed

fisrt of all i thank you for replying and i also like to know the same through a small scenario can you help
the scenario is like a trading partner would like to make an edi communication with transport company
where they are making use of 204,214,990 transaction sets for their communication
with such a scenario explanation i want i would be happy if u reply and suggest how should be my approach

Santhosh,
The 204, 214, and 990 and all standard X12 transaction sets and therefore you should be able to use the schemas supplied by R2. If the required communications is AS2, that is also supported by R2 so you should not need to use Covast at all. However, if there aere some other features or functions supported by Covast that are not (yet ?) supported by R2 then it's possible to miz and match Covast & R2.
Therefore, I would recommend checking actual data files to ensure they can be supported by the R2 schemas and listing any other requirements iether partner have, looking specifically for any exceptions.
