VirtualEarth Mashups no longer working

I struggled with creating a mashup today using Virtual earth after having already done a few. When I went in to my existing ones that worked I discovered none are showing pushpins anymore. Looks like something is broke.

My mashups with Virtual Earth work fine.

Try closing all browser windows and try again, that may help.

Michael, are you still seeing problems?

When you drop the VE block on the mashup designer, do you get the background map on the designer itself (before you go into the Preview mode)?

Just to check the pushpins aren't appearing off the coast of west africa are they? At 0,0 as that may be a symptom of a block failing to resolve a location to a long/lat or not parsing a feed correctly etc.

I switched from supplying latitude and longitude to supplying the name a comma then the whole address all in the title. This seems to work well (see http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/blogs/mikeg/silverlight1/PopflyMashups/FloridaFamilyTrip.aspx ) Only issue I now see is at one point a reader opened it and only saw the map, then yesterday the pushpins were there but only the title data was rendering through and now today everything appears to be rendering (pushpins, Title, description).

This evening the map would appear but none of the data. Appears to randomly work and then not.

Hi Michael,

This sounds like an intermittent problem with the underlying data source (in this case sharepoint.microsoft.com/blogs/mikeg). I tried this with your URL above, and also through ripping and previewing the underlying mashup at:

http://www.popfly.ms/shell.aspx?projectType=mashup#MichaelGannotti|FamilyFloridaTrip

Both ways look fine right now.

In order to get more detail on this I turned on the console (Show Console before Preview) and got the following output. If you could look at the console output when this is failing, perhaps we can hone in on exactly what is going wrong.
