vista keeps disconecting my cable intenet
just wondering if anybody has an solution for this problem. Windows Vista keeps disconnecting me from the internet. I disabled the wireless network one and its running on network two now, however it still disconects (although nowhere near as often). Any help would be great. btw my notebook is a acer aspire 3690-2710.

I have the same problem but I'm connected wirelessly. Every few minutes, vista disconnects me from the network. There has to be a fix for this annoying issue. This computer was working just fine with Windows XP, network and all.
Vista can't be such a resource hog where it brings down other devices...

i too have the same problem, me and my friend sharing internet through each other's laptop but network gets down after every 4 or 5 minutes , pls guys , if you have solved your problem than please do tel me that how did you solved that ?
