This is not the only report of this R6025 runtime error that we have seen over on the Visual C++ forums.

1. Uninstall MacroGaming Sweet IM if it is installed. To do this, follow these steps:

a. In Microsoft Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type CONTROL APPWIZ.CPL , and then press ENTER.

b. Click MacgroGaming SweetIM from the list of installed programs, and then click Remove.

c. Restart the computer, and then sign in to Windows Live Messenger.

2. Repeat step 1 to remove any third-party add-ons for any earlier version of Messenger. For example, remove Messenger Plus, Stuff Plug, Smiley Central's My WebSearch toolbar, or any other add-in for any earlier version of Messenger.

3. Reinstall Windows Live Messenger and verify that the issue is resolved.

it worked for me!!
