SEPA Testing

SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area that is used in a number of different channels for processing payments by the world's topmost banks.

Can anyone shed some more light for me on SEPA testing and what it involves? I'm very blur.. All i know is Logica CMG recently launched a test factory for SEPA testing and for some reason the industry is making a big deal out of it .. help please!

So, as i hear, several companies like iflex and cognizant etc are already developing means to test applications to make them SEPA compliant...does anyone have any idea of what goes into testing these applications? such as what guidelines need to be followed, etc.. any information is very much appreciated!

You have probably already found this link, but the compliance data and recommended testing are listed at www.europeanpaymentscouncil.eu/implementation_testing.cfm
