Links are broken!

Can you view other websites?

If yes then there is nothing wrong with your computer.

IF NOT then im guessing you are on broadband with cable or ADSL.

If so follow these steps;

• Check all Ethernet cables or USB cables are secure on your PC first before you try the following:>>
• Turn off your computer completely.
• Pull the plug from the wall or the PC or / and turn it off at the back or at the wall socket.
• Turn your broadband 'modem'off at the wall socket for about 30 seconds.
• Turn the broadband 'modem' back on.
• Wait for about one minute.
• Turn your computer back completely at the wall socket, on the back of the PC ( if there is a switch ) and on the front.
• Hey presto!! You should have your internet working again.

What all the above does is, it renews the settings on your computer in the way it communicates with the internet.

If you still have problems then phone the support phone number for your internet service provider.

This might be for example AOL or NTL ( VirginMedia ) or another company.

Thank you for your time and patience! My internet works just fine. That is why I was able to post in the forum about the broken links!

And the links are still broken.

The links are "better" - I now get prompted to sign in and fill out an information form instead of getting the DNS error directly... but then it redirects me to http://msdn.microsoft.com/404/default.aspx titled "Location cannot be found"
