Website - Error in web.config?

I just installed Orcas Beta 1, and now I'm seeing this error when I compile the website in both VS2005 and Orcas Beta 1:

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\web.config(78): Build (web): Unrecognized attribute 'xmlns'. Note that attribute names are case-sensitive.

Also - websites are not my forte, so maybe I'm missing something. Where do I start to debug this issue?

I saw a couple posts that talk to this error - and they fixed this by editing the web.config file, which I'd like to avoid if possible.

Is this a known issue? Bug?

Thanks

Hello michael,

I had the same problem. When I installed Orcas Beta 1, In the list of installed components there was a SP 2 of the .NET 2.0 Compact Framework. Might be that this Service Pack updates this web.config(?)

Regardeless of that question I solved that issue by deleting all these suspect xmlns="" attributes. After that the compiler error disappeared.

Hope, this hint will help you too.
