Lego NXT services broken (May CTP) ?

My rig,

Lego NXT firmware 1.0.4 (latest)

MS Vista

RadioShack bluetooth dongle (Bluespoon)

MSRS May CTP

I can send drive commands to NXT, they work fine. The problem is in receiving the sensor data. I have checked the config file, it is okay. The XSLT page for nxt service and well as bumper (contactsensor) service shows the value of all the sensors as 0. Even the timestamp is not updated. (I used the TriBot manifest file)

Strangely the bluetooth utility for Vista shows that NXT is connected to two ports (port 6 for outgoing and 7 for incoming). The config file for NXT just ask for one COM port which I fill in as 6.

The NXT software utility (the one that comes bundled) is able to read the sensor values. I checked it by calibrating the sensors.

Please advise.

Hello Gaurav.

It sounds like the MSRS006 program on the NXT isn't running properly. Try using the NXT software to connect to the brick and remove the MSRS006 program, then run your MSRS service again. This will cause the program to be downloaded, and the config file to be reinitialized.
