ComboBox in DataGridViews

Hi,

I am a newbie to VB and I have a silly problem here. I have a combobox in a datagridview. But when I change the value of the combobox using the drop-down list, the triangle to the left of the data row turns into a pencil symbol. When I press the save button at this stage, the OLD value is saved.

However, if I click on another cell after choosing the new value, the pencil turns back into a triangle and if I save now, the NEW value is saved.

Can someone tell me what I can do so the chosen value is "locked in" after the choose the new value?
