I work with a team producing an XPS Filter printer driver.

We access the pipeline etc. using the techniques recommended in the WDK.

However, we wish to modify our processing depending upon whether the output is ultimately to a file (either because the printer is connected to FILE: or because the application has requested Print to File) or if it is to "normal" output.

What technique can we use to ascertain output to a file?
