Acropolis new project wizard issue

Hi all,

I'm using Orcas Juni CTP (VirtualPC Image) and the new July Acropolis CTP.

I'm trying to create a new Acropolis App (from 'WPF Document-Style Application

or 'WPF Application' project template) but it doesn't work for me. I get always

following error:

Error: this template attempted to load an untrusted component

'Microsoft.Acropolis.NewProjectWizard, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,

PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. For more information on this problem

and how to enable this template, please see documentation on

Customizing Project Templates.

How can I make theMicrosoft.Acropolis.NewProjectWizardrun for me?

And why get I this confusing error at all ? Has been the July Acropolis CTP

not tested with the Orcas Juni CTP?

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

Please note that the Acropolis July CTP will only run on Orcas Beta 1 as mentioned in the release notes and the requirements on the download page. If you want to try Acropolis in a VM please download the disk image from the following page:

Hi Dennis,

you were right (blame on me) ;-) The July CTP works very fine with Orcas Beta 1...

I installed it yesterday and can now play with Acropolis too :-))

Hi Alex, hi Dennis

I'm not lucky with Acropolis: I have a curious problem, I don't see

the ComponentCommand in the dropdown menu.

I thought, I did something wrong and downloaded a HelloWorld-example

from http://staff.southworks.net/blogs/ejadib/archive/2007/06/06/Hello-World-with-Acropolis.aspx

The result ist however the same: the dropdown menu remains empty!

What's the problem?

PS: how can I attach JPG-attachments to my posts?

Problem solved, sorry fur such stupid question.

ComponentCommand needs the Description attribute!
