Ready for certification, but how is it done?

Dear BizTalk RFID Team,

finally, we have finished the development of our RFID device provider for the RF660R and are ready for the certification. I know that you do not run a official certification program, but the certification tool was a great way to test the provider. However, it seems that thistool from the previous BizTalk RFID Version (MSRfidProviderCertificationTool.exe) is not available on the connect site any more.

It would be great if you could give us a short notice how to certify or (if certification is not needed/wanted) what the next step for us is. Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Hi J?rg

Great to hear that the provider for the RF660R is ready. I am assuming that this was done with the RC1 bits that only our IHV partners got access to. If not, please let me know.

We will be releasing a new version of the PCT very soon that works with the RC1 bits. You can use this to test your provider.

Are you also aware of the deployment kit and the supportability plan? Prior to the launch of BizTalk RFID in September, we *highly* recommend that you have both the kit and the suport plan done and shared with us. Please send the information to the RFID Support alias.

Thanks and do let me know (krishg@microsoft.com) if you have any questions
