Just wondering....

I was referred to this site by a friend of mine, and this is my first time ever visiting this site, so please forgive my lack of knowledge of this site, but is there a forum I can post questions about Visual Studio C++ 6.0 in? I'm a student at ITT Technical in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I need serious help trying to figure out and use C++. My friend told me to come here to ask questions and get help, but I can't even figure out where I can ask my questions! If anyone could point me in the right direction, that'd be greatly appreciated.
