Partial EDM OK?

Regarding when to use default EDM (generated from the db) or a pre-existing EDM... is it possible to do both by telling Jasper to use a pre-existing EDM but also use a default EDM (generated) for tables not specified in the pre-existing EDM or for a manually specified list of tables?

I.e. can Jasper be told to use a default generated EDM except for some tables which get mapped using a specified pre-existing EDM?

Right now there is not the option to have this particular behavior. In the future this would be something that we investigate and consider implementing. I'll file a DCR and reference this post.
