i tried to remove the katmai from my control panel.And the result is that I removed the SQL2008 item in the program list but actually it still exists in my box.
Anyone knows how to uninstall the SQl2008?

but as windows registry, in the registry table , hundreds of items listed about SQL...10.0
Some Katmai stuff has to be left on the machine. For example we can't remove user databases so we need to leave them on the machine.
Are all of he Katmai ARP entries gone?
Can you send me the uninstall logs for SQL 10?
Are you experiencing any issues because SQL 10 has left things on your box?

that's nightmare when installing the SQL2008
everything can not work
i am using Visual studio DB professional, but it can not support SQL2008
i am using Biztalk 2006, and can not configure the DB on SQL2008.
.....
Usually released products take awhile to support new products. I can't speak to Visual Studio or Biztalk's support but I'm not surprised that they don't support us yet.
Is there a question I can help with though?
