i have the same problem, i'm running vista ultimate (including all updates) and when i used it on xp it was working great, but as soon as i run the setup on vista i get the agreement in the bottom right corner press accept and the then window dissappears! and thats it no more no less, i've try to do it with my internet connection down but no luck. i hope theres a solution.
Do you have any other Windows Live products installed (such as Live Writer or Live Messenger)?
Check the installer that you used to install them. If they have a different language setting then you've found your problem.

hey jamie,
thanks for the reply but regarding other live products installed on my pc, that would have to be a yes, i've got live messenger installed (beta, including the lastest update) and that works just fine! i have no idea what to do to make it work cause i went into a bunch of forums to see if there's a solution but nothing helped ![]()
it's still that same problem: i download the setup file, run it, it appears for about 7 seconds and then disappears! and thats it
The problem is the Windows Live installer. On Vista, go to c:\ProgramData and delete the folders for WLInstaller and WindowsLiveInstaller. Then run the install again, this will work. Unless the program stopped working, in which case reinstalling does nothing.
