Problems installing visul studio

You can try using the filemon tool from the http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/fileanddiskutilities.mspx and see what is the location of thefile that is being accessed, this appears to be a file corruption issue.

I am not sure if installing it from a local hard drive will help the cause, if you are still chasing it, you can give this a try
