A Compliement and a Question: Upgraded Pro 2005 to Suite
Last night, I upgraded my Visual Studio 2005 Professional system to Team Suite. I expected it to take forever, but it didn't.
I had expected it to require me to uninstall Professional before installing Suite. It didn't! It actually upgraded, cleanly.
One odd thing was that I clicked "Check for Updates" link on the Setup page, and got 29 updates, including VS2005 SP1. I didn't think I needed all of those, though maybe the SP1 was SP1 patches for the Suite components?
The one question is: this seems to have changed the set of items I see on the start page to be database oriented. I thought that it might have set my preferences for Team System for DB Professionals. However, I can't find where to look to see and change that setting. Could someone tell me where to change that, or how to confirm that I'm still set for "C# Developer"?
