Writing SQL statements in Crystal Reports

Where in Crystal Reports do you write your sql statements to get certain data from the database?

In the setup, they allow you to choose which field to add to the report but I don't need all the data from the field, it all depends on what the user needs.

Can someone show me step by step. And please proofread your post to make sure it is legible before submitting.

Go to

Database Fields > Right click Add/Remove database >
under available data sources > OLE DB(ADO) expand it > Select data provider
then provide necessary information like server , user , password once you are connected on left
side you will see your database , just expand it. On TOP there is "Add Command" this is where you write SQL.
