Sharepoint install

Hello,

I installed Shrepoint services after wiping my system. This is a requirement for installing Biztalk 2006.

I chose "server farm" but when I installed sp2 and navigated to the Sharepoint Central Administration site. There was no

option to define an application pool. I uninstalled Sharepoint services and reinstalled it and now I am not being given

the option of choosing a server farm, and the install just remains typical. Is there a way to fix this? I have run the commands to install ASP.NET and reset IIS. Do I have to uninstall SQL ? How far back do I have to go short of wiping the system again?
