Problems after installing source code

I've just installed the taskvision source code.
When I closed the taskvision solution, I am now unable to open VS.net.
When I try to open it I get a MS IE warning which says:

"Your current security settings prohibit running activex controls on this page. As a result the page may not display correctly."

I click OK and then a blank form, with no caption, appears with a message saying:

"Please wait while the wizard initialises...".

Nothing happens, and when I close the window, VS shuts down.

I've tried uninstalling the source code but I get the message:

"Exception occured while initialising installation:
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: file or assembly name CustomActions.dll, or one of its dependencies was not found"

Any ideas?

I've just had this problem (for the second time). You might want to check your Program Files directory - you might find a load of files / directories missing.

I had this problem a week or so ago when I installed the TaskVision client, but didn't link it to that install, assumed that it was a virus/hacker. A random selection of directories had been deleted from Program files, and a few other places on my PC. I checked the recycle bin but nothing there, but a few messages in the Event Viewer - Windows File Protection where it had tried to replace protected files.

After a lengthy rebuild of my PC, I came back to reinstall the client. Not a good idea. I know realise it is the same problem. This time I had Norton Systemworks installed, with the Norton protected recycle bin. The files were all deleted by TaskVision!!

This is a SERIOUS problem, and needs urgent attention.
