I'm havening the same problem. I'm going to try to reburn the DVD at a slower speed and see if that helps. My testbed machine has a slot-load laptop DVD reader and I'm not sure of it's maximum speed.

Ok, this DAEMON Tools of which you speak doesn't really appear to be what I need. If I'm looking in the wrong place (at the wrong DAEMON Tools), let me know. I have an MSDN license and have legitimate keys for VISTA. I have no need to break the copy protection.

DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator. It is able to emulate nearly all known copy protections on the market today.

let

me say what it does.. all it does is it makes your DVD think that there

is a DVD in it... well since when you burn the DVD it gives error, it just mounts the .iso DVD to install, i even read this

method in connect.microsoft.com so i don't think its anything bad..if you need any help setting it up, give me your aim, msn, yahoo (any) i will help you.

Ah. I understand now. I already have a virtual drive program. I'd never used it before. Thanks for the heads-up.
