Windows Workflow Foundation Beta 1 is compatible with the .NET Framework and Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 (builds 50215.44 & 50215.45). Windows Workflow Foundation Beta 1is notcompatible with the Beta 2+ build of Visual Studio 2005 that was provided on the goods disks at the PDC 2005 conference. If you only want to utilize Windows Workflow Foundation for development purposes, then you can just install the Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation. However, if you wish to also use other WinFx components, then please follow these steps:
| 1.Install the WinFx Runtime Components – September CTP This installation includes the runtime components for Windows Communication Foundation ("Indigo"), Windows Presentation Foundation ("Avalon"), and Windows Workflow Foundation. | |||
| |||
| 2.Install the Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation This installation package includes the workflow runtime components, Visual Studio designer extensions and templates, and the Windows Workflow Foundation SDK. |
