Why?

How is this forum distinct from the "Suggestions for forum website" and "Bug reports for forum website" forums?

It most likely is different teams inside MS requiring separate forums to monitor community success.

It's confusing at the moment I know. The deal is that one is for the forums... this one is for the actual MSDN and Technet web sites. Things like the developer centers, the navigation model, the TOC, Library, etc.

Over the past year, TechNet and MSDN have been researching and piloting several site improvements. Many of them will go live this week. This forum was set up to listen to your feedback about the site changes and gather ideas for further site improvements.

Have you seen the new search results? We launched the new search in April and released a new set of improvements last week. Stay tuned for more improvements to the navigation UI, increasing the number of docs in the TechNet library, and more. We hope you’ll like the changes to our site, and as always we welcome your ideas and feedback.

No, this covers the TechNet & MSDN site.

How about fixing those shocking "newsgroup" look alikes and making them more useable like the Technet and MSDN forums and leave NNTP for newsreaders only.
