Outlook discussion forum linking

Hi Everybody,

I need to implement discussion thread in MOSS.

My requirements is as follows:

Experts of an area(SME) gets email in outlook whenever anybody starts a discussion on MOSS specific to his area.

He can answer to the query from outlook iteself and gets reflected in MOSS.

Please let me know whether it is possible using out of box features of MOSS and any hints on how to proceed to realize this
