Implementing the installation of software I developed

I have developed a software using Visual C++ on wondows 2000 and windows XP.

I would like help for implementing the installation functions so that the user can install my software.

I am told that windows 2000 and windowsXP has functions for this task.

Some code examples would be appreciated.
