IE Developer Toolbar not working
I downloaded and installed the IE Developer Toolbar and it doesn't seems to work.
All the menus are in gray and I can't do anything.
how can I fix this?

I have the same problem. Reinstalled and reparied with no success. The icon is there, you click it and nothing happens. Even if you go to Tools/Toolbars/Explorer Bar/IE Developer Toolbar, the toolbar displays in the bottom part of the window, but there's no dom tree in it, and all the menu options are grayed out.
At least Firebug works in Firefox but still...
I have Windows XP SP 2 with IE 7.0.5730.11 here!

I am having the same problem 
was using an earlier version and it worked.
I am using IE7 and now i dont get DOM tree and i can't use the select element with mouse pointer. This was a good tool what happened?

Same here to... It was working before...
I used IE6... then somehow It stop working...
would it be a Windows Update causing it?
I upgrade to IE 7
un-install the Developer Toolbar and Re-Install It,
run as Administrator it still not working...
It runs but all the menu items are grayed.
Select Item clickable yet it can't access any element.
Any Clue?

At last! is working now.
- Go to Internet options
- Click Security Tab
- Click Local Intranet
- Click Custom Level
- Find Run ActiveX Control or PlugIn (Administrator Mode)

Tools -> Manage Add Ons -> Enable or disable addons -> find it and enable it
It got disabled when i reset IE settings, doesnt enable when you re install it
Some reason when its disable it still shows up just doesnt load DOM.
