simulation environment cannot start correctly

I have installed the MSRS following the instructions, including the .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0, and DirectX 9.0c. But when I start the exsamples in the visiual simulation environment , for example the Lego NTX Thibot Simulation, nothing showed up in the window of visiual simulation environment but only the background.

did i miss something?

When you say that only the background shows up, do you mean that the window is black or is the window displaying the sky and ground only?

Did you use the MSRS installer to install all of the software that you list? If not, you will also need to install XNA. If you used the MSRS installer, XNA should have been automatically installed with all the rest.
