SSRS 2008 Map control shapes

For the map control in 2008, has the format of the shapes used in the control been finalized?

Does the team intend to use ESRI compliant shapefiles as the SSRS2005 Dundas control does, or something else.

I know it's kind of a long shot, but specifying the shapes using WPF would be wild.

FWIW, I use a HUGE amount of ESRI shapes with the SSRS2005 control currently.
