windows aero help!

Sorry, i didnt know where to post this, but i just got my computer a few months ago, it worked fine up until now. I installed this DivX player, and now my windows areo theme will not work. I tried uninstalling it, but it would still have the windows vista basic theme. So, how do I get my windows areo theme back?
