Simple Menu system for WindowsXP sp2
I am looking for a menu system to install on my dell laptop, that will give me the ability to install a new program on my system, and when ever I need to shut it down to use conflicting software or any other programs for that matter that when I click the new program startup it will first disable any conflicting installed running software. I guess it would be like first off check my system for all software and create a data base of all installed software then give me an onscreen menu that I can customize. When I find a program that conflict with another program for system services that I can set a flag so that when I click on to change applications, it will disable any services, applications, drivers, background tasks. Just as if I had unistalled the software without doing so.
I hope someone can direct me to such a utility, I am laid up with an injury and spend about 18 to 20 hours a day at my computer. A menu system as I have described would allow me to use or test any software.
One more time, I am looking for a menu system to install on my system that will shutdown conflicting programs when I select a new application to work with.
Any help in this area would be a great help.
