I'm using an Access 2000 DB on an intranet. I want to link the file to an Oracle DB running on the same server, so I can run a query using tables from both DBs. The Link Table function in Access is no help - even though the Access file resides on the Intranet server, Access is trying to look for DSNs on my local machine. If I set up a User DSN and establish the link, will it take effect for any ASP pages that run queries on the Access DB? Do I need a VBN script to automatically run a query on the remote DB whenever the browser loads the ASP page? None of the forums here seemed suitable. Any advice would be great.
