Specify C# or VB or other language

Hi,

I've joined the forums are they are excellent.

The thing that jumps out most is when people ask questions that require the answer to have code they don't specify if they're using C# or VB.NET code (some do specify VS2003 or VS2005). The skill levels of the people in the forum is so diverse that other could translate the code, but others can't.

Is there any way, similar to the Message Attribute radio buttons at the top of the Post New Message, to allow the user to select what language they are wanting an answer in (if necessary) and what version of the .NET framework they are using ?

Just a thought.

How would you make this additional information more general to any type of forum? What if, for example, these forums were used for windows vista? How could the feature be made generic outside of the dev side?
