automatic back-up of client data onto server

Please i need some help.

I want to know if there is a feature on windows server 2003 that backs-up client data (desktop and document) onto the server ...into a folder for the the user.

I came across something like that on debian linux through some sort of scripts or so.

How it works: a folder is created for the user ; when the user logs off the network... documents on his/her desktop and my document are sychronised to the folder on the server. Also if the user logs onto a different system, the files are copied from the server to the client and when he logs off, the changes made to any file or folder is also synchronised back.

I am used to microsoft server and want to know if such a thing exist in the operating system and how i can possibly implement it in my network.

thank you
