My Favorite Forums.

Hello guys,

I don't know if this has been suggested or not. Just thinking if we can have a section on top to store my favorite forums, like Gamespot. It is getting really hard for me to cruise each of my favorite forums. Thank you.

I agree, I think that would be an excellent addition. Something that could be added once all the "bugs" are fixed.

until this will be added you can use the "My Threads"-Page as a replacement

see the other thread http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2114761&SiteID=1

where Peter Ritchie made me discover that you have there direct access to the according forums.

Thanks for the advice. I know I can suscribe one thread to each forum and do that, but I already suscribe a lot more threads for each forum. It will be difficult for me to find uniqe forum link in my collection. Also it is a weird way of using the feature. I guess I will make bookmarks instead.

I want to add a "Me Too!" here. I started using the forums just today and already noticed there are way too many different forums in which I might have an interest in responding. It would be nice indeed if I could have a birds-eye view on the forums I am interested in, seeing the list of recent topics/posts overall across all of them, rather than trying to use the current "unanswered" link on the top page (which shows threads from all kinds of forums, most of which I am not interested in), or by bouncing back and forth across multiple forums looking for posts to answer.

Microsoft is developing totaly new software for the forums that they say will soon replace the existing software so they are not implementing new features such as that in the existing software. Hopefully they already have a feature such as what you describe in the new software.

I go to one or two forums everyday; the same ones everyday. I have a set of HTML pages I use like bookmarks. I have the main page as my start page. I have a page for forums. I can very easily get to the forums I use frequently. That helps me for many sites, not just Microsoft forums.
