TheABGreetingProc is a way for a bot to display a message to the user when he opens a chat Window with the bot, but we find it didn’t work unless we use MSN message 7.5, neither in WLM 8.1 or WLM 8.5. Did the clients influenceABGreetingProc ?

I'm sorry about the long delay in getting this answer. There have been some procol changes betwen client versions, and of note for this topic is the fact that we can no longer tell accurately when a user opens a window with a bot. Rather, we know when they send a first message.
We are in the process of coming up with a solution or finding some workaround, but it's likely that this will take some time.
