MSDN Subscriptions Library Disk 1 December 2006 Locks Computer
I have been trying to get the Essential Resources for Developers to display on my box to see what it has. Each time I insert it into the computer, the computer stops responding and then I have to power cycle the box to get it back. I am able to look at the disc on my Linux system but that only shows that the disc has information. Any Ideas?

Thank you for the information. We have not encountered any problems with this particular library release. I am suspecting that it's a bad DVD. I would suggest contacting the customer service for MSDN Subscriptions and request a replacement disc.
This December 2006 version of the Library however, should also be on the Subscriber download site as "MSDN? Subscriptions Library, December 2006 Edition - DVD (English)" if you'd like to download instead.
Also, please note that there is a newer version of the MSDN Library released in April 2007. This should have been included in the June 2007 Subscriptions shipment.
April 2007 Library is also available on the subscriber download (DVD and CD version).
