VB Express 2008 Registration Problem

Hi,

I am having the same problem registering VB Express 2008 Beta2. I downloded the ISO file, created the CD, and installed it. The installation went as expected, no errors etc, but when I try to register the product, it takes me to the Live ID login page, after entering the correct details it trys to lodd the netx page, but fails, the message (displayed in the browser) says:

Unknown Error
An unknown error occurred while processing your request. This is most likely due to a connection failure. Please try again.

This message is displayed using IE7 and FireFox, yet all other areas of MS are loaded without problems.

Ive repeated the process at different times, but same problem.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the update notice. I just gave it another go but still the same, except this time I didn't get the Live Id details request, it just loads the page with the same error message as before. (the difference may be because I am already logged in to Live Messenger)
