I installed all the software that comes with sql server 2005 express including: sqlexpr.exe, sqlexpr_adv.exe, sqlexpr_toolkit.exe. All the installations were successful. However, Sql Server Business Intelligence Development Studio could not be found from start menu. I am not sure whether it got installed. I need it to develop reports. What could the problem be? Any solutions?

Yes, the link to Business studio is created in the start menu under sqlserver but the underlying file is not there. So the link doe not open business studio.

Thanks to some hints in the forum, my problem is now solved. I extracted the files from sqlexpr_toolkit.exe and ran the setup program setup/vs_setup.msi. This created the devenv.exe file which was missing and now I can create reports.

I have the same problem, if you are still available can you tell me how you extracted the files? i downloaded sqlexpr_toolkit.exe and I found the file vs_setup.msi, and I ran it but no devenve.exe was created? I am really confused..
