TFS reporting service down. Need help.

Dear all:

My team has a TFS server, and after the password of tfs reporting service account was changed, the report service did not work. When I view a report, for example, “bug rate”, it saysQuery execution failed for data set 'dsLastProcessedTime”.I tried to follow the guide to change password inhttp://server/reports/TfsOlapReportDS andhttp://server/reports/TfsReportDS. But the same error. So I rebuilt the warehouse use SetupWarehouse.exe, then inhttp://localhost:8080/warehouse/v1.0/warehousecontroller.asmx, click run->invoke, wait until the status became idle. Then process the TfsWarehouse database in analysis service. No error occurs. But When I view report, the error is stillQuery execution failed for data set 'dsLastProcessedTime”.In relational database TfsWarehouse, table _WarehouseConfig, there is no item where ID equals to “LastProcessedTime”. Anything wrong? Thanks.

All the best

Hello Sen,

Could you please try:

Open the _WarehouseConfig table in the TfsWarehouse relational database.

There is a row for the DataReader property.

Change the value of that property to the proper reporting service account.

And could you please try to re - clear the client cache to see if it works?

Open a browser and open the following folder:

drive :\Documents and Settings\ username \Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Team Foundation\1.0\Cache

Thanks a lot.

the _WarehouseConfig table is OK. The problem is that the connection string is wrong. Now it works.
