How to use webparts in Team Foundation Portal Sites

Hi

I need to add webaparts to Team Foundation Server Web Portal Sites but encounter error and as a result wss 2.0 lead me to the web part trouble shooting page , I happen to found that web parts cannot be addred to vsts portal site.I am using Microsoft addin 2003 webparts which are running fine on other non vsts team sites , in fact I created a test team site and use these webparts. Any one knows how to use webaparts in vsts portal sites?
