are there any commands that can be given to the indexer?

Hi All,
Suppose I want to give a command to the indexer to start indexing from my program and not from the WDS.
How do I do it?
How can I give a command to the indexer to index locations that I specify from my program and not from the WDS?
Is it possible to control the indexer from outside at all?
Thanks

Unfortunately that is not supported in the current release. The only commands you can give to the indexer, other than via our Query API, are those that can be passed as command-line arguments to WindowsSearch.exe (try "WindowsSearch.exe /?" to see a list).

However, we're aware of the desire for programmatic control of the indexer. Unfortunately that's all I can say that this point.
