I have 3 applications orginally written in vb6 that I've been working on for 11 years. I started converting one of them to c# got about 1/25 the way through and discovered that WPF was the future. I tryed it. Didn't like it. It's not ready for any serious business application. The learning curve is huge. I just fininshed learning what I needed in c# to convert my projects to Winforms. Now the WPF thing has popped up. If I started writing my project in WPF would it be around when I'm finished?.

My question is if I continue in Winforms. Is it a futile. If it's going to still be around I would like to continue. If it's going to be supported for the next 10 to 15 years then I'll continue.

I have to convert these projects. Any advice would be appreciated.
