Hi,
Can anyone advise why all my desktop icons and taskbar have vanished, all I am left with is the background. The system appears slower than it was, yet I have run several virus checks to no avail. I am 'protected by McAfee'. Another feature is that when I call up for some programs/files windows pops up to tell me it cannot reconise it but almost immediately the file opens behind the 'pop up'.
tried in vain to sort it out but I am not an expert in IT, just enjoy using it.
Any useful advice would be welcome
