SQL RS2k5 Management Reports failing (rsexecutionlog.dtsx)

In setting up the delivered management reports we've come across the following issue.

On a 32 bit box, no problems, all runs fine, but when moving it to a 64-bit production box it will not run when called from a JOB.

There is a small script in the package and the PreCompile property is set to False, the packages runs (after build) from a the SSIS object explorer, or just exucting the file (double click). However once you put it into a job, the job fails.

We tried adding logging to the package in order to trace through and find out the problem, and this doesnt' work either. It logs absolutely nothing when run on either the 32-bit or the 64 bit.
