VB: Edit and Continue

I have a problem with Visual Basics Edit & Continue for projects under Team Foundation server, the IDE says its Read-Only even if its checked out prior to debug start.

In a non-source-controlled environment it works.

You even see the little "lock" symbol on the tab-page with the source code in the IDE on the file you are current trying to edit, so clearly the IDE thinks its locked.

Any ideas?

found it, it was some project settings that hanged on because it was a converted 2003 project, changed that to "default" and it works.

I have the same situation. What was the setting you changed?

Did anyone get the projects settings that were modified to fix this issue. I have (probably) the same issue with upgraded projects.

I ran into this once too, but maybe under different circumstances. I had a setup project attached to a primary project. I deleted the setup project, and then found that I'd recovered the ability to run edit and continue functionality without getting the pages locked for read only. I then added the setup project back into the project, and the edit and continue still functioned correctly. I'd say it's some sort of fluky bug.
