Create Folder structure within a project.

Dear all,

Firstly, this question could cover different topics, so I apologise in advance if this may not entirely be the correct area.

Ok, basically I am currently looking at replicating some of the functionality of visual source safe 6.0 and applying it to VSTS.

When I create a new project is there any way of creating a directory structure, much like I have in source safe, where different items are logically located together.

I am guessing that this is possible but not sure how to do it.

WHat I would want to do is, stored different files or projects in different folders and then apply branching, labelling, and merging to them at some stage like I belive you can do in soure safe?

Any help is appeciated.

The Solution Explorer in VSTS works just like before. You can choose Add Existing Files to add files from anywhere on disk. When you run Add Solution To SCC, it will attempt to create a file structure in TFS that looks like what you have on disk (unless you have strange workspace mappings).
