SQL Server Service 2005 Pack 1 is availablehere.

The list of new features and fixed was published here on KB Article916940 .

Keep in mind to read thereadme file first in order to avoid problems during the update or unexpected bahaviour.

Thanks for posting the link. The upgrade link on MS Sql Server 2005 Downloads (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2005/default.mspx) links to http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2005/TBD

Does anyone in Microsoft SQL development read these forums? I have posted 3 definite bugs in SQL 2005 SP1, all reproduceable with no comments from anyone. If this is not the place to post bugs, where is?

You can submit your bugs at http://connect.microsoft.com/default.aspx , it's where the bugs supposed to be posted.

Definitely true. The rule of thumb I use is that if you don't get a response here in the forums to a bug posting in a day or two (certainly after bumping it a time or two with a "anyone?" reply), it means that no one who is reading posts here, including some Microsoft people, MVP's, etc have any idea. Then you need to either:

1. Call Microsoft for help if it is critical and you can't wait

2. For sql server, go here: http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback and let them know. They generally get back pretty quick, though it is not a perfect system :)
